I May Never Make Calzones Again

Today, I am taking a leap of faith. I am getting my hair done by a stylist in the middle-of-nowhere, Alabama. I was going to wait until next time we go home, but it's gotten so ridiculous that I'm practically sitting on it.  1970 called, and they want their hair back. Not really sure what to do with it, or if I really trust a stylist in the middle of nowhere, but we shall see.

Other than that...

+ Weiser still has something wrong with him. I knew that the medicine they gave him was just masking whatever issue was really happening, but I guess it was worth a try. It still could be the food or treats we give him being that he's not lethargic, and now I have to decide whether to take him to the vet again. I don't want to rush him in if it's the treats, so I'm going to monitor him for the next few hours. If only he could talk!

+ I had Loni and Joel over for dinner and a movie last night. I wanted to make Calzones to use up things in my fridge, and I sure as heck wasn't going to eat them all by myself. But I must tell you, all those pins on Pinterest that taut 'easy' Calzones are liars. There is no such thing. Delicious, yes. Easy, no. I planned on sharing a recipe for it today, and thought better of it. No one except for your Italian grandma wants to spend two days making these things like I did.

+ For anyone that has DirectTV, did you know you have access to Frozen for FREE?! Well, technically it's the Sing-A-Long version, but I love me a good Sing-A-Long and I love free. Look for it on OnDemand. If you don't have DirectTV, think about getting it, and we can both get money off of our bills. Do it!

I just need the next ten days to go by very quickly...If Weiser and I can make it ten days, all will be right with the world. I also need this hair appointment to go well, because I'm still gun shy from my last hair cut. I would say that's why I waited six months for a haircut, but we all know it's because I'm cheap. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Let it go, Let it goooooooooo...

I hope Weisser is better soon. Stomach issues?

Good luck with the hair cut!

I do think calzones are easy. Well, if you use pre-made dough they're easy. LOL

I'm always nervous about getting my hair cut--that, plus the fact that I'm cheap, means that it's usually 6 months in between cuts for me, too!

I have Direct TV and I LOVE that Frozen song. This little girl sang it for Karaoke while were on vacation and I about died!! Anyways; After reading this I will never make a calzone ever!!! The closest I've come is using the crescent roll dough that comes in a can and filling it with cheese and ham.

Good luck with getting your hair cut today :) I totally understand about being nervous. I thankfully found someone I love here in town :)
We watch Frozen quite frequently in our house. I have to limit the amount, otherwise it would be on repeat.

The calzones look delish! I have them on my list of "dinner ideas" but that will be for a Sunday evening meal as it will take a bit to prepare. :)

i'm pretty cheap when it comes to a hair cut, too. so cheap that i rather do it than pay twenty bucks for someone to mess it up. lol. win-win.

it's crazy how things don't turn out like the pinterest pictures. i'm sure that they had done it a few times. still not fair! lol.

hope your pup feels better! xo

I am so weird about getting my hair cut too. Hoe it goes well. Hope Weiser gets better. I would change the food ASAP, and see how he does after. I had issues with Seamus with treats from China and it was not a good scene. He is better now after changing all his food.

I'm gun shy about hair cuts too! My last one, the gal cut it dry... who does that?

Poor Weiser!! I hope he's back to normal soon or you figure out the cause and have an easy (ie simple and cheap) solution.
I am totally the same With my hair. One, I don't trust anyone. And moving so frequently doesn't allow me to find that right person. But I'm also cheap. Um, $50 for you to trim one inch off? No thanks!!
