Post 4th Of July Blues

Hello sunshines! I know what you are thinking, it's the Monday after one of everyone's favorite holiday weekend, and the last thing you want to do is smile or be happy right now, but let's look at the positive...

Two hundred and thirty eight years of this great nation.
We still have amazing soldiers that fight for our freedom.
We had an amazing excuse to party and #BecauseMerica.

This weekend, I encountered several scenarios where pessimists couldn't see the light. A chick who was mad at her husband because he was upset at her for not being with the family, some flight students that pretended that they didn't want to be pilots because they weren't doing very good in the program, and people in general getting mad about some of the most mundane things I have ever seen. To them I say, be happy that your husband wants to spend time with you, don't disgrace this amazing program by giving into your insecurities boys, and if you let mundane things bother you that much, you need a hobby.

I hope you all had a pessimist free weekend and a great fourth! I ended up having one of the best Independence days ever, but that will have to wait for another day. We just got in from Panama City Beach, so a shower and shut eye is all I've got left for this evening.

Why aren't there any knock knock jokes about America?
Because freedom rings.

Glad you had a good holiday and are keeping a positive perspective! (The cure to that is to start a vacay at the beginning of the 4th and then continue the celebrating for the next week! ;)

Yes, I love seeing the positive side of things!! I have seen so much pessimism and negativity that it's quite refreshing that there are still positive people!

Glad you had a great 4th. It's sad knowing that so many others let too much negative in though.
