Brittany Dawn...Such A Pretty Name.

Well, hello to a new week!
Y'all...I seriously can't even tell you how much this week is doing for my soul!
Pensacola and my family are THE BEST therapy ever.

I am pleased to introduce you to Brittany Dawn, who happens to be new around here and bravely signed on to do my first post of the week YESTERDAY! That's what you call gumption...When she asked for a suggested topic, I just KNEW she had to tell you about her stint in Africa. Yes. I just said AFRICA!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey all! I'm Brittany and I'm so excited to be guest posting over here for Janna!
For those of you who don't follow my blog (you should ;)), I spent last summer in South Africa. I was working at a radio station, so it wasn't all fun and games, but a big part of it was fun. We did so many things that I'd only dreamed of doing. We went on a safari and we went shark diving sort of . It wasn't out in the vast ocean, but in a section that was specifically for that, which totally still counts! I got to explore a different country's history and learn about the people first hand. It was an amazing trip and if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend it. It obviously took some time getting used to and it was definitely different than America, but it was great in it's own little way! Do you want to know what my favorite part was?
Hands down- playing with baby lions and tigers! So cute, right?!
We went to a nursery where they were bred. We were allowed to go in to a fenced in area to pet them and play with them. They were amazing. They were a lot like playing with big puppies, but they were big (and wild) cats! That was something I never thought I'd do...especially outside of a zoo in America, let alone in Africa! I think you should plan on your next vacation being to South Africa. It's a trip of a lifetime, and I don't think you'll be too disappointed. It is a very eye opening experience, but never disappointing!
Don't forget to check out my blog here!
If only it were that easy...right y'all?
My best friend happens to be from there, and she keeps telling me that the tickets are 2-for-1 in the Spring, so who knows? Maybe we can plan a "Blate" Safari.
I'm pretty sure that would be epic.
Well, I hope you all have an "epic" Monday after this...
Love you all!
Wahoo for family and the beach! :)
That's so crazy that she got to play with the wild kitties. Holy moly, I'd be scared. I have friends from SA and they're always saying to come for a visit.
How adorable! I think I need a baby tiger now...and I'm pretty sure my hubs (and my puggle) aren't going to go for that.
