So let me tell you a love story...'cuz I like love stories.
Once upon a time, there was a girl and a boy. The girl worked the grill at McDonalds back in the '70's, and the boy would go, just to watch her work. He was still in high school, so he
stalked admired her from afar.
Fast forward a few years, boy becomes man and is really into cars, which influences him to stop and talk to "a man about a horse" or a car...whatev. Now this dude, happened to be married to a chick that had a sister, and guess who this sister just HAPPENS to be..Yep. That's right- it's the burger flipper.
But the plot thickens...there were marriages and kids
baggage that made the timing wrong AGAIN.
Alas, the seed was planted....
This seed continued growing until the dude found out that the burger flipper (now a teacher) was single....
Dun Dun Dun!
You wanna know how smooth dude was? He set his jogging path to take him right past her house, and it just happened to be at the time that the teacher left for school. He knew that it was only a matter of time before she realized that she couldn't live without his
bootay jogging shorts.
And he was right....
Shortly thereafter, they fell madly in love and united our "His, mine and ours" family...
The rest is history.
Which leads us to my trip home two weeks ago!
This week I will FINALLY share the fun with ya.
Let's start out with the
excuse to reason that I went home.
The happy couple's 20th Anniversary!!
We had it at my brother's house, and he and Paula (my amazing sister-in-law), outdid themselves!
The decorations were awesome and the food was AMAZING.
I might have stuffed myself silly...totally worth it!
The company wasn't bad either:
A lot of family and friends came, so it was great to catch up with everyone. People I haven't seen in YEARS. There was a lot of "My, my haven't you grown up!"
Family photo, just missing sissy!
And to prove their love:
(sorry, I'm not sorry about the PDA ;)
Now that's what I call a good love story <3
Can't wait to tell you more about the trip, but I guess this'll do for today.
Happy Monday, y'all!
