D-Day Is Upon Us

Today is the day, y'all.
I will try to be strong, but there will be tears.
I will say farewell to my best friend, my lover, my inspiration, my heart.
Some try to console me, by saying that this is a true test of our marital strength, but they are wrong.
Dead wrong.
To be a test- there would have to be at least the slightest chance that we won't have the strength to endure this.
Anybody with a lick'a sense and knows us, will have NO doubt that we have the strength of a thousand relationships rolled into one, and that this unfortunate separation is merely an aggravation.
I know it will be hard, but it will no doubt be worth it.
As I have said before, I would much rather endure this deployment, than to not have this incredible man in my life.
I see it as a fairytale that is just happening out of order.
We found our "Happily Ever After", and the rest of our lives will be juicing up our story line.
The grandkids are going to be proud.

Do me a favor:
 Hug your husbands tight, tonight.
They may not be fighting a war, but if they love and support you- their love is deserving of a simple thank you.

Praying for you and thinking of you. Sending warm wishing your way that you may be strong and hold your head up high through this. Its not going to be easy I wont lie and say it will but you WILL get through it and you will both be a better person in the end with a much stronger relationship. and when you look back on it after he comes home you will see it as the time flew by!!!! Just keep busy and remember if you ever need to talk, vent or a blogger friend to cry to im here!!!

Keep busy and time will fly by so fast before you blink an eye at least that's what my Aunt said to keep from thinking about her son, my cousin who's been sent to Afganistan 3 times for deployment.
