I'm Working TOO Much

Okay, so I know that I should be happy that I have a job, that I'm healthy enough to work, that I can help support my family, blah blah blah. Too bad that doesn't make me feel any better when I am having to juggle serving, bartending, and managing. Did you know that I manage?

I am basically a substitute manager (aka Key Employee), but for a total of two months I have had to manage every Tuesday. Instead of giving any of my normal days up, I've been trying to juggle working five shifts, training, keeping up with the house, and of course blogging. I guess I was doing okay until we got the news about Lauren, and for obvious reasons...it threw me off my game.

Here is a shameless selfie in my "professional" polo:

I know, I know...Hooters and professional aren't supposed to go in the same sentence ;)

I still haven't decided how to solve this issue because I don't want to give anything up $$$$, but for now I am just taking things one day at a time and leaning on Will for support. For example, I got stuck at work late yesterday, but came home to washed dishes, a clean living room, and the clothes folded AND PUT AWAY. My hero...le sigh.
Don't worry, he was properly rewarded.

Well, time to go fill my management responsibilities. Woohoo! bleh

PS. I felt fine yesterday, and now I am sore as all get out! My boobs are even sore.

I hope things slow down a bit for you so you have time for yourself! So glad you have the hubby who knows how to pick up the slack...and actully DOES IT! That's important in a good one :)

Glad he was properly rewarded lol! My husband surprised me and did some cleaning the other night as well- I asked him what he did wrong because that was just way out of character for him

Now I feel bad about whining for just taking care of my Mom & Dad yesterday (cooking and cleaning for them and then coming home and doing it again for myself and the fiance)..
Hang in there Janna! All your hard work will pay off :) And your professional selfie looks great!

This post made me sad :( Take some time today (and every day!) to stop and enjoy the little things. XO

Don't forget to take time to stop and smell the roses!! This is just another thing to help you grow, and I know it sucks, but it'll all work out!

I'm glad Will is able to help you out at home a bit right now while you've got so much going on! Don't forget to take some time for yourself, though!

So great when the men help you out when they know you're stressed!

But I feel ya, I'm not happy with my job and the stupid time commitment it requires sometimes. If B weren't deploying in the fall, I honestly may have not decided to return next school year. But then again, when you've got no one to rush home to, you might as well stay busy at work, right?

You will just have to make sure to make the most of your days off :) Hope today goes well and you get out on time love! XOOXOX

Don't over do it. You don't want to miss out on too much from working too much. I admire your ability to work so much. I've always been a wimp. I top out at 40 hours generally and can't handle much more.

Will is the best!! And you are the best for being able to juggle all of your responsibilities, even though you feel like you're losing it. Life WILL slow down, I promise. Until then, hugs to you my friend!! And maybe you can work on planning a vacation to Vegas (because we all know you need a break!) so that we can meet!!

Actually, I just realized we will be in Colorado for 3 days in July. Email me back and we will talk about this!!

Ummmm, Hooters makes millions of dollars a year I'm sure, so yeah, professionals are obviously running the company-don't sell yourself short! Werk it :)

That's a lot to juggle. You sure it was the "incline"? ;)

Wow you are busy! It's awesome your hubby recognizes that and helps out. My husband has done the same. Its such a great feeling to come home to a clean house. :)

That is a lot to balance at work! First off, you go girl! It's obvious that you are an awesome worker and can be trusted with so much responsibilities :D Second, take a day to yourself and go get pampered! Go get a message, a mani and pedi, you'll feel a lot better!
