I'm pretty sure Tuesdays are one of my favorite days of the week.
Monday is over, only three days left of the week post-Tuesday, and one might say it just rolls off the tongue. Although, I have decided that the WORST and most eratic driving is done on Tuesdays. {In case you didn't know}, I over-analyze the shnit out of everything, and even have an entire breakdown of the days of the week. Just don't run away! I won't bore you with my nonsensical-nonsense. Well, at least that nonsensical-nonsense.
The best thing about this particular Tuesday?
I get to have a dinner date with this handsome fella, even though he is on a 24 hour duty. Yep, he's working 24 hours with zero sleep, which means NONE of us can complain about an eight hour shift. Mmmmkay? Thankfully, he gets meal breaks, so we are going to grab a quick dinner to break up the monotony.
For those of you wondering why I've been off my blogging schedule no one's wondering other than Will, but humor me, it's because Will and I have had more time off together lately. Normally, I have at least one day a week that I can dedicate to blogging, but lately, I've had the pleasure of spending extra time with him. It makes me sad to have SO much to tell y'all, and not enough time to share it or catch up with nine million emails, but nothing comes between Will and I, and y'all know this.
I typed up a lot of other excuses, but I realized it sounded like just that...excuses. I'm not sorry that I have been busy, but I'm frustrated that I don't have the mental capacity for one of my greatest passions. It makes me realize that something's gotta give. I'm hoping that this next move will bring me a clean slate where I can have a less taxing work environment or no work environment teehee, and I can find the balance.
You know who else can't find the balance? Flippin' Colorado.
Personally, I think Will jinxed us. I said something about it being December, and he said it couldn't be because it isn't even cold. You got your wish, sucka. The rest of this week is just going to plain suck. December, we are friends-off until you get your weather in check.
To end this on a positive note, these are the things that keep me blogging:
+ YOU
+ The community support.
+ MilSpouse bloggers that are the best resources, and 'know' what I'm going through.
I don't know where we would be without all the advice and help we have gotten over the last few years. In the Military, everything is on a 'need to know' basis, and most of it is simply asking the right questions. I am very happy that I have had the 'right' bloggers to ask the 'right' questions.
+ Keeping in touch with friends even when we move.
+ Getting perspective from the blogs of working mom's and mom's in general.
IDK how the eff you do it.
+ Having a space for the highs and the lows.
+ My creative outlet.
And surprisingly:
+ Will giving me crap every time I don't post.
What keeps you blogging even when the going gets rough? I feel like MANY bloggers are going through this these days, and I wonder why? Is more expected of us now than before? I've only been blogging for three years, but I sense a big change has happened.

That is some crazy bipolar weather!
10 degrees??? That actually sounds like my kinda weather :)
You enjoy that husband of yours sweetie pie. We miss ya, but it's all about family of course.
<3 muffin!
No one is blaming you for spending quality time with your hubby. And if they do, tell me, and I'll beat them up! :)
Stinks about your weather there-10?? YIKES! I thought we had it bad when it was in the low 30s the other week. I'll stop my complaining right now :)
Maybe we'll all get some bonus snuggle days on Wednesday if we get as much snow as they're predicting!
i love how supportive he is of your blog. that is just so cool.
A 24 hour shift- yes we have no reason to complain at all!!
Whoa that's a huge decrease in temperature!
Geez.. that weather is almost as crazy as it is here! Kinda.
It's great that Will is supportive of your blog.. I wish I could get a little bit of that in my relationship LOL
That is too cute that he wonders why you have missed a post day or two. That is some crazy weather shifts. Gotta grab that precious time when its there so we will be here when you do post!
I remember 24 hour duty well... those poor guys! I'm glad Will gets food breaks though- enjoy your dinner!
MI weather is pretty close to CO and it's just crazy!
The weather has been like that in Salt Lake too! It just can't decide what it's supposed to be like. It's pretty funny that your husband is the one giving you crap about your blog and not other bloggers!
Posts that I have in draft keep me going when I've hit an uninspired/unwilling/unwanting patch.
I tell myself that I have to keep moving forward, that's what inspires me to blog (and do other things!)
You guys are seriously the cutest :) Glad you are getting good time together! Hope you having a fun dinner date tonight.
And 24 hours? You're right. I'm never complaining again.
Awww :) you two enjoy dinner!!! Ummm how does it go from 51 degrees to 12!? That's insane!
Our weather looks like you're sending the snow across the Kansas plains and right smack dab into my part of Missouri come Thursday. blech! I hope you guys have a wonderful dinner date!!
Janna,
Colorado and North Idaho have similar weather patterns. I was just talking about it yesterday... CRAZY...
I think Mother Nature and December need to get there act together! :)
Have a good dinner with the HUBBY!

That weather is ridiculous and will forgive you for being semi-MIA because it is AWESOME you get to spend time with your man!

Hope you had a fun dinner date :)
I really wish there were more time in the day to blog
Wow! That's cold!!!! I'll keep our Florida temp, thanks! :) I have a hard time blogging when things get crazy, which is silly because that is when I have the most to talk about, just not the time to sit down and write. I should work on just writing a few thoughts and not making such a huge post about it.
Love that you are able to spend more time with your Husband! Those are the best times!!!!
Good gracious it's about to get cold there!
I love that it makes Will sad when you dont post! My excuse lately is just lack of time and I did hit a place where so many people (that I know) read my blog and if I dont mention one tiny thing that we did or that involved them, feelings get hurt. I try to remind people that this is MY space, but it is funny how blogs can even validate people on the outside. Since we moved back 'home' it has definitely gotten harder for me, which is a bummer because of course the memories are for my family. It is definitely a slippery-slope!
Family should always come first-don't ever feel bad for spending time with him when you can! Honestly, I haven't been blogging as much because I'm busier at work and in the evenings my hubby is home now since farming season is over. I'd rather sit and watch TV with him, or even do farm paperwork together, than spend time on my computer. That's how it should be :)
This ol' blog will always be here, you never know when the army is gonna take your hubby for a unknown period of time, so soak it up, enjoy it, and make every moment count that y'all have together!!! because in the end that's really ALL that matters.
I feel the same way! SO much happening, so much I want to document and share but seriously not enough time in the freakin day!
I just want to hug you! I such a spastic reader so I don't know when someone is away or not since there's always something I haven't read yet. I'm glad you'rte not apologizing for spending time with your hottie! Enjoy it!
