I hope you all had a swell Christmas, and I'm SO happy that I get to share some of the loveliest blogger friends that played gift swap with me! Not only did we swap presents, but cards too, and the cards made my day every time I got one! Here are the three cards I've already gotten, and I have a gift on the way that I can't wait to get my hands on.
Although, I'm sorry to tell ya ladies...my favorite card was from Will.
For Oh, so many reasons.
Long story short, Will has pushed me to step away from what I know, and challenge myself to find what I really want to do job wise. But first, he wants me to take care of him during the strenuous schooling he will be doing, and how could I say no to that? I assume that SAHW will be my temporary position where I plan on blogging, writing, and possibly substitute teaching, and am just as scared as I am excited. I can't wait to see how this goes! Let's hope I don't change my mind, haha.
Now for the real stars today!!
If you need some new bloggy friends, I highly recommend these. Not only are they beautiful {inside and out}, they are sweet, fun, and loyal! I'm pretty sure we all need more loyal bloggy friends these days. Am I right, or am I right?
Now I have to go get ready for the most epic party of the year. One of my girlfriends is shipping off to Hawaii with her hubby, so we are throwing a 60's themed party at work. Yours truly will be decorating and mentally preparing myself for the shenanigans. Let's just hope that it's fun shenanigans and not drama. No drama fo'yo mama.
Anywho, I hope you all have a great weekend!!

YAY! Thanks for the shoutout, friend! I loved you guys' card too! It's still hanging proudly on our tree! :)
Aaaand... HOOORAY! I am so excited for you! You will love being a SAHW! And you will rock it too! When I used to only work 2 days a week I felt like a SAHW most of the time and it was great. :)
What the.... HOW did I miss this swap?! Ugh!
Okay, SO EXCITING to be a SAHW! Your man will be well taken care of ;) It's good that you'll have plans to keep yourself busy because you'll go a little stir crazy at first. When we first made our big move like 3 or 4 years ago, I became a SAHW. I went back home 1 week a month to work and stayed with my parents. Even though I was working a week a month (and almost making the same amount of $$ I would make in a month, crazy week of work + less expenses really added up in my favor) I still felt like I wasn't contributing enough to... I don't even know! All I do know is that it took a couple months of adjustment before I realized that working full time didn't mean I was worth something... if that makes sense? So just be prepared to go through an adjustment stage because it really caught me off guard!
