And let's call said game 'Blog Comment Love'. Although it should really be called "I've stretched myself too thin, and can't keep up with my life."
The rules are simple. You comment on this post, and I promise I will comment on your blog within a week. If you know me, you know that means I will catch up on your blog and comment at least a few times. I know this probably seems like a shameless request for comments, but I really just need an easy way to catch up on blog reading, and I'd rather read the blogs that I actually have relationships with. Those of you that read and don't comment, this could also be a chance to speak up too. Say hi, ask questions, tell me your favorite Christmas tradition, share a link to a post you want me to read- whatever your little heart desires.
Just don't forget to check if you are a 'no-reply commentor', so that I actually can reply/find you, and know that I will comment more if you don't have word verification on. Otherwise I get frustrated and click the red x. If you don't know what these things are, you are probably guilty. I will forgive you if you fix them ;) Ahem Carrie cough you are guilty of both.
You live and learn!

Hi from Australia! I always read, but rarely comment. Time and all that. Love your blog, it's a lot of fun :-)
Oh hey come back to use :) You're still on my faves list on bloglovin. And I am super excited to click the link above me -- an Australian!!
Whether it's for lack of ideas or not, I like the idea, so here's my comment! Hope you're doing well girly!! :)
I love you! That's all! xoxo
i don't comment as often as i used to, but know that i always read your posts
Hello its me!!! Well I haven't blogged since the beginning of the month but I've been quite busy so I'll be posting soon!!!
As always I enjoy reading your posts and catching on your greatest adventures!!!
I've been behind in my reading and commenting and answering too. It's a lot sometimes!
I think this is a great idea I totally love it. It gives the newbies like me the opportunity to be read by bloggers like you.
well...I hardly ever blog, but I like to read everyone elses :)
I especially love when I get all your comments in one night. Makes me night. P.S. our firm totally represents Hooters and I think of you all the time when people try to talk bad about the girls. I'm always like well you should know my friend....
I try to comment on blogs as often as I can. Sometimes its just plain hard.
I love to read your blog, I just forget to comment! My blog has taken the back seat lately - but I have been pretty consistent with baby bump updates :) Beyond those, I warn you - there's not much there at the moment!
I always read and usually comment! We go way back. Life totally gets busy. It happens.
I love your blog! But I think I may have only commented once before.... Your post yesterday was one of my favorites :)
JANNA! you know i love ya! please do not feel like you HAVE to comment on my blog ever! i know you are so busy :)
I have been so behind lately too. Hope you get caught up soon!
I have so many of my favorite blogs to catch up on too! It's such an overwhelming feeling to me when I get behind! <3
Life is crazy don't stress!
Right now my bloglovin' count is at like 350+ so I completely get it! Hope you're able to catch your breath soon! xo.
at the end of the day, i just have a hard time getting in front of a screen.... sometimes, i even wonder why i still have a blog because i don't even spend much time on it like i used to.... but anyway, HI! some folks are just creepers :X ;)
This is a great way to get people to stop lurking and start interacting!
Well, you totally don't have to feel obligated to read my blog or comment back (although, I was totally tickled the other day when you commented on my Pima post!). But, I will share my fave Christmas tradition. Every year, my mom sits down and reads the whole family a book of poems called "The Christmas House", and it is one of my most treasured memories. I have my own copy now, and I plan to continue the tradition with my husband's family this year as that is where we will be spending Christmas.
I found you through #Blogtober14 and I really like your blog! This is a great idea to catch up with blogs you want to read...I have been having trouble myself finding the time lately to open up Bloglovin and get through all the posts! One random Christmas tradition of mine is obsessing over what pajamas I am going to wake up in Christmas morning...my family takes so many pictures in the morning and I want to be wearing silly/memorable pjs! (Last year I wore leopard footie pjs!)
I read your blog everyday (just as I have for the past several years); however, I haven't blogged in months, so you have nothing you have to read for me ; ) hahahahaha. Just thought I'd show some love!
This is the same way I approach my comments. I rarely go through my reader anymore, but rather try to get back to the people who are taking time to comment to me too. You do a great job keeping up!
I've always love stopping by and reading about all your adventures!
Girl, I have the worst time keeping up! But you know this because I always catch up and spam your email with tons of comments, HA! Good luck catching up!!
Oh I've done that a time or two. Sometimes I just have to clear my reader because I am so far behind and it is so daunting. Good luck catching up :)
Hey girl! Yea I know it's so easy to fall behind. I find it hard to keep up with all the blogs on my news feed but try to catch up when I have the free time.
I understand the fall behind part!
Cute pics! I have fallen behind on reading blogs lately and am finally catching up tonight. :) I haven't been the greatest at blogging either. I'm hoping to change both soon :)
I think I need to do this sometimes... that way I am reading the blogs that mean the most to me!
This is actually a really great idea. You might get followers who've been reading but never comment to do so, and thus in turn you discover their blog and it could end up being a favorite of yours!
Are you two able to spend time with your families for the holidays?? I know you're family isn't too far away but sometimes short travels are difficult too. This will be my first ever Thanksgiving away from home and I'm super upset. But we just went home for my sisters wedding and can't justify the 16 hour drive when we just dropped a lot of airfare and gifts. And we'll be driving home for Christmas (we have two big dogs so we drive). I'm thankful I get to go home for Christmas but Thanksgiving will be tough :/
I'm a weekend reader! Ha, ha. On Saturday mornings, I chill with my laptop, a cup of tea (only because I'm preggo and try to avoid coffee these days), and I catch up on your blog. I love how fun your writing style is! :)
Hi there from Ireland:) I do not have a blog but thought i shall comment to say hello and love the blog, I think I read the whole blog within a few hours, pretty crazy I know:) anyway I have a few Christmas traditions but looking forward to this one the most, my partner Ross and my 3 year old son Reece are in our new house just a few months so first Christmas here:) will be special..anyways greetings from Irelandxx
I haven't blogged in the longest time and as soon as we get into our townhouse/after the holidays, I plan on getting into it again. Also, I'm pretty sure I've got a book deal coming about. I just wanted to show some love!
So clearly I'm WAY behind on blog reading, but this was such a cute idea! :)
I really don't like to read blogs. But when I found your post, I started to like it. I found it interesting and informative. Thank you for the effort in posting this kind of information.
