Will And I Survived His First Bachelor Weekend

I've made it through the weekend with only a small amount of worry and zero close calls. My lovely husband is completely honest, so I knew all the shenanigans that were going down, and boy were they going down. To my surprise, he and the Bachelor removed themselves from some of the situations, because they didn't even want to be involved. You see, there were two Bachelors and one's intentions weren't so "honorable". I didn't ask any details, because all that matters to me is that I have the best hubby in the world!

Other than one dude going missing the first night Hangover style, and Will scratching his face while wrestling, the weekend went pretty smooth. The best part was that we got to text a lot. I tried to leave him alone, but since he initiated most of the texts I was happy to stay in contact. I just didn't want to be "that wife" that kept checking up on them.

Other than that, I looked up some new recipes, blogged, fulfilled some household duties, had a lunch meeting with some of my new trainers, and went to Costco with my Springs BFF, Anthony. My Monday is actually going to be more exciting than my weekend.

+Bar meeting this morning.
+Dentist Appointment. {I actually enjoy the Dentist}
+HAIR APPOINTMENT!

I received a coupon for Veda Salon, so I FINALLY had a reason to go in for a trim. I would love to actually get a "style", but I think my style is just long. It's the easiest to deal with, and everyone seems to get mad if I even mention cutting it.
I just wish I could get it to curl more than this:

Perhaps after the trim. I always have them thin it out, so hopefully that will help! If only I could have Courtney do my hair...I wonder if that would be a good enough reason to get the hubby to go on vacation to see her...hmmm. Oh, and in case y'all haven't heard, Bronde is the color for Fall, so I am totally 'in' this season. Get on my level.

But serious question:
Should I just get a trim or take it up to mid-back?
I'm so bad at these decisions!

Less than 48 hours until Will is home, and yes, I am totally counting the hours. Bachelor party is over, but Will still has one more leg of his trip. I'll fill y'all in on that soon, and I'll tell you about how I'm going BACK to Chicago this coming weekend. Craziness going on around here these days, but it will have to wait! Muhahaha ;)

Are you going to Veda over off of Southgate? I LOVE my lady there, she finally cut my hair the way I had been imagining in my head for so long.

Hope you're doing well! Glad you both survived :)

I don't really understand enjoying going to the Dentist, but since it's a necessary thing, you might as well enjoy it! :) And I think your long hair is beautiful--but I couldn't imagine wanting to deal with long hair on myself! :P I know I'm a short haired girl, through and through.

I'd take it up to mid back, it'll grow back and you'll have something different and fresh in the meantime!

As long as you have trust then you can survive any bachelor party weekend. You hair is so pretty that it looks fake. I say that as a compliment. People would buy the hair you already have on your head!

So glad it was a successful weekend! It makes it much less stressful when you can trust your partner. I love when the guys text us first :) I would trim it up to mid-back, but that's just me. The great thing about hair is that it grows back :)

Your hair is gorgeous, but do whatever YOU want to do! It's hair, it grows back! I'm trying to keep telling myself that myself... cheers to happy hair appointments!

I think it would look great at mid-back length! But it looks fantastic now, too! So a trip will be equally gorgeous :)

And by trip, I meant trim. But you probably figured that out yourself, ha!

I absolutely LOVE your hair.. maybe you should do mid back for a change and then it will probably grow more, etc (you know how that goes). I actually had a dream last night that I cut all mine off and it looked horrible, ack! And Will is super sweet!

You guys are just too cute. Glad that Will had a good time and that you both survived ;D
What is bronde? Brown/blonde? Ha ha :D
I used to have hair that went down to my butt, but it was giving me killer headaches every time I put it up.. and I kept closing it in the car door so I chopped it to my mid back and it looks and feels so much healthier now. (That was a ridiculous sentence!) I think you would look great with either style!

My hubby is headed to Vegas in a month with his 2 best friends for a bachelor party for one of them. I didn't even bring it up, and he came right out and said the other day, "I want you to know that me and the guys have already talked about it, and we will not be going to a strip club or anything like that. I told them I don't want to disrespect you that way, and I don't need to be looking at any other women." I was so proud of him in that moment! I didn't even have to be that nagging wife! hahaah

I have long, hair hair too so I'm partial but I say only trim. Also, what's thinning it out like? I've always wanted to try it out.

P.S. Yay to surviving the weekend and having a great hubby, and shame on the 1 bachelor who wasn't honorable!

OK I'm done with the comments - I've officially bombarded this post haha

Ahh! I don't know what to do about hair! From what I can tell from the pictures, my hair is about 2 inches shorter than yours right now and I had every intention of cutting it when we got back from Italy, but all my friends are all "noo! Don't cut it! It's so pretty and perfect!" So I go back and forth. I love my hair long, but it's SO much maintenance. But then of course it's about to be cold 'cause winter is coming which means I'll actually wear my hair down a lot more than I do in the summer. So right now I'm thinking I'll leave it long and just cut it in March when it starts to get warm. Granted, I say that, but I might get fed up with it before then, haha! So all that to say... I have no idea how to advise you! Your hair is gorgeous as it is, but cutting it to mid back would be pretty too!

Will is the BEST! But do you know what would make him even better? If he'd pack you up and bring you to UTAH! You know I'd LOVE to do your hair and hangooooout! I wonder if you added more layers to your hair, if that would help hold the curl?
