Summer Favoritas!

Today, I am flying back to Chicago!
I just love my job sometimes. The fact that I get PAID to go back to such an awesome city is fantastic. I am most excited about going to see The Book Of Mormon at the famous Chicago Theater, which we didn't get to see last time. Apparently, it's from the creators of South Park, so I'm pretty sure it's going to be an interesting take on Mormonism. Have any of you seen it?

In honor of Summer drawing to a close this weekend, I thought I would share some of my favorite moments. Obviously, having Will home was the best part!

Favorite Trip:

Favorite Date:
We had a LOT of good dates this summer, but the Scavenger Hunt Picnic was my favorite.

Favorite Accomplishment:
Shooting for the Hooters Calendar is an accomplishment in itself, and come October 1st, we will know if I've actually made it IN the Calendar. Cross your fingers.

Favorite Toy:

Favorite "Look" of the summer:

Favorite Song:

Favorite Movie:

I don't actually know if there were any serious I'm-going-to-die-if-I-don't-see-this-the-moment-it-premiers movies, but I really enjoyed The Great Gatsby. Maybe because I've read it a million times, but either way, it was a great cinematic experience.

Only regret:
Not getting to go back to the pool at The Broadmoor. I REALLY wanted to stay there again, and veg out in the pool.

PS. I don't usually wear makeup in the pool. We just finished brunch ;)

What were your favorites of the summer?
We were all slacking in blogland, so hopefully we all made up for it in Summer fun!

It looks and sounds like you've had such a great summer. I saw the Book of Mormon last month, It wasn't a show that I was rushing to see as I wasn't too sure if I'd like it (I'm not a fan of the humour of South Park and Team America) but we won the ticket lottery and got front row for £20 so that price I was going to see if and I loved it, it is such a fun show and I came out of it on a high. One of the reasons I had been put off by it was because I thought it was going to be really disrespectful towards Mormons, but its not (its a lot more disrespectful towards Africans) and I actually found it quite informative as going in I knew nothing about Mormons and their beliefs. I'm probably going to see it again at some point as I now want my friends who haven't seen it to see it and my Dad really wants to see it too!

Fun times! Road trips are so great, I am dying to take one up the CA coast soon.
I've been slacking all year but I actually opened my blog page up this weeks so maybe I'll get back into it by the end of the year. ;)

Your white dress is gorgeous! And we just finally got around to seeing the Great Gatsby--Angel had never read it and had no idea what to expect. I thought it captured the style of the book well.

I want that camera! I love how it's so compact yet takes excellent/pro pictures! I'm sure all the fun and accomplishments won't end in the coming cold months. Good luck with the calendar.... you totally deserve it!!! This has been one of my fav summers ever, even though leaving family and friends behind is sad, we've been so blessed here and are loving Colorado :))
