Sometimes: I think that I am unable to choose just one, because I love all movies.

Aww hell...I still can't pick.

As fun as these are- I promise, I appreciate EVERY tag and link up I am asked to partake in- does it feel like there have been more and more these days?  I'm not sure I can keep up at this rate, so please forgive me if I don't participate in every one...I have been trying to catch up on my own blog posts, and it ain't happenin'.  I will do my best and feel blessed to even have this issue.  I heart you all!!

PS. Speaking  of more link ups-

My Life Comes with fine print

Bunnie started a new link up, and who am I not to support?

So what made my day on Monday?  Well, I went in to work feeling pretty off and a tad bit sick, but it was payday, I had FOUR tipshares from working the bar, and I FOUND $80 in my work bag! That pretty much makes it the most lucrative Monday EVER!!

PPS. My FIRST guest post was on Miss Pinky's Blog  yesterday!
Go check it!

Too Tired To Title

When we walked in this evening- Will headed to the couch, I headed for the bed (after showering, of course) and even Weiser, whom you would think would have missed us, went straight for his bed.  Needless to say, the Bogert family is exhausted!

EXHAUSTED

Good news is:
We are home safe, the weekend was successful, and I can't wait to share it.
After I recouperate, of course ;)

Here is a picture of our room at the B&B as a teaser.

Nighty-night, sleep tight!

Automated Response: VACATION

Ok, so maybe it's just a mini-vacay...but I'll TAKE IT!  The Army wouldn't let us take a real vacation before deployment, so weekend vacations it is!

If I worked in an office and had an automated response right now, it would probably be something along these lines:
(Well, only if I worked with all bloggers...otherwise it would be creepy)

I'll be back soon AND my computer should be back in action around that time, too! I am missing y'all this weekend, and it's only a few days...I can't imagine if I had to be gone for longer!

I feel ridiculously cheesy right now, so I'm gonna go...yeah...

Oh, but go check out my BFF Desiree, while I'm gone.  She completes my life right now.
For real.

Love Language

Pinky is in Cancun, so she had  Jen from Going The Distance as a guest post, and she had the coolest love quiz to share!  It's about  The Five Love Languages, and how each one applies to you.

Example:

My Love Language

Quality Time: 9
Physical Touch: 7
Acts of Service: 6
Words of Affirmation: 6
Receiving Gifts: 2

Quality Time
In the vernacular of Quality Time, nothing says, “I love you,” like full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there–with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby–makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful.

Did you read that, lover? hehe.
Stay tuned to Pinky's blog, because yours truly will be guest posting as well!

I ALMOST forgot (shame on me) that my lovely Sarah is hosting a link up!
How cute is her link button??

Photobucket

My inspiration today is the artist that we are going to see this evening in Denver!
If you have never heard of Atmosphere, you should look him up. He's pretty amazing and he's completely independent.

This song puts me in a good mood ;)
Hope it does the same for you!

PS. In case you are getting less comments than normal, Nikskie reminded me that blogger is only letting some of us comment on the Pop Up comment forms, so everyone should make sure they have the Pup Ups.  They are better over all anyways, thus I will love you AND be able to comment if you do it!  Go check Nikskie out while your at it...I believe she lives in Indonesia. How cool is that?

My Laptop is Sick....

I sometimes get anonymous comments from friends who don't blog or bloggers when blogger is being lame and won't use your ID.  I also sometimes get anonymous comments from spammers.  One of those spammers has now attacked my laptop from the inside and it is in the computer ER.

It probably needed a good cleaning anyways, but it is putting a damper on my blogging!  I can use hubby's laptop, but I don't have any pictures or inspiration saved on here. Thank goodness for Pinterest and the like!  It looks like it's going to be a week or so before my laptop is in full recovery as we are waiting for the recovery disc, but we are going out of town this weekend anyways.  I guess it was good timing!

I am EXTREMELY excited about this weekend!  One of activities that I am most excited about is the Denver Art Museum. We have been trying to go since October, and now we finally are! These pictures are from last time we were in Denver...

Can you see why I'm excited??

It's almost Friday, y'all!!!!

Best Wife Ever? This girl!

Gooooooooood Morning!
Yes, it's early.
Yes, I have barely made it through my coffee.
Yes, somehow I am in a good mood...
Probably because it's Tuesday and that means "Sometimes & Always"!

Sometimes: I think that I don't need this iPhone.
Always: It saves me when I'm lost or 'need' to Instagram something.

Sometimes: I take so many pictures, knowing that I won't use them all.
Always:  I take them anyways and know that they will come in handy eventually.
Thank goodness for external hard drives!

Sometimes: My friends say I'm whipped.
Always: Will and I are whipped for each other, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Sometimes: I am a bit overzealous when it comes to things for my husband.
Always: It's TOTALLY worth it.
Reference below!
\/

Will wasn't feeling well, so I told him that I would bring him anything he wanted for dinner.  I should have known better than to use the word "anything", but I took the challenge and ran with it!

Call #1- Applebee's, where they do not put eggs on burgers, but when I explained my predicament, they were happy to oblige.
Call #2- Domino's, where they gave me a sweet deal on a small pizza!

Time it took to orchestrate this on my way home: 25 minutes.
Cost of everything including tip: $17
Look on hubby's face: Priceless!

He ate the ENTIRE thing and said it was amazing!!
Plus, all his friends are jealous. Go me.

On another note:
Picnik is opening up to everyone and somehow merging with google.  I'm cool with this BUT the collage option is missing, and I NEED collages in my life....Are there any other free or cheap programs out there that have that option?  I have photoshop (CS5), but I have no clue how to use it...
HELP!

Kreativ Blogger & Accent Vlog

Miss Pinky, also tagged me in a post this post week, and I am pretty dang excited to share!  I didn't necessarily get tagged in the accent vlog, but thought it was too fun not to try.

The instructions are to say these words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting Image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught.

And then answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you use to change the TV Channel?

C'mon...you know you wanna do it ;)

PLEASE forgive me for all the "ums" I used...obviously I was nervous. I also blame it on the fact that I was looking at a split screen...I recommend writing everything down for easier reading.

Then home girl gave me the Kreative Blog award, which I am pretty excited about!
I'm sure you have already come across her blog, because she's pretty awesome, but just in case-

Here are the rules for the award:
1} Link back to the person who gave you this award.
2}Complete the form.
3}Award 5 blogs and let them know in a comment or email.
4} Share 7 random thoughts about yourself.

The form:

1} Name your Favorite Song:
Phil Collins "In The Air of The Night".
Only because it was my favorite when I was little and my daddy would crank it in the 'Stang on the way to school every morning. Good memeories.

2} Name your favorite dessert:
I actually don't like having 'dessert' because I am full after I eat.
I do love sweets on their own, and my go to would be carrot cake.

3} What ticks you off?
Disrespectful people.

4} When I'm upset:
I try to talk myself out of it.  I think about all the good things in life and why I shouldn't be wasting my time on negativity that gets you nowhere.  Especially when it comes to Will,  I ask myself: "Is this worth being angry?  Wouldn't I rather cuddle with him and talk it out at some point?"
5} What's your favorite pet?
Our 'son' Weiser. He is the first animal that I have connected with on this level. I did have a little white dog when I was little, but it got puppy-napped, which is probably why I didn't get attached to any other family pets.

6} Black or White? .
Neither really, but white if I have to choose.

7 }Biggest Fear:
The unknown and change.  They are silly things to fear, but I guess you might say I have control issues.  I just like having some semblance of control and feeling the ground under my feet.  I've only recently begun to understand that your favorite products get discontinued, your favorite restaurant may close, styles change and that people change, but it doesn't always mean the world is ending.

Seven random  thoughts about me pictures:
I think that I have given away enough tidbits lately, so I am revising.

To change it up- I went through my phone and picked every 7th photo to Instagram.  This was great
because I ended up posting pictures that I probably wouldn't have shared otherwise.

1} This is how Will fell asleep last night.  He was nuzzling, and the next thing I knew-
he was OUT!

2} His grandma in Ohio MADE us these...They are awesome!

3}  My co-worker turned 21 and we all had a blast!
Laughter is the best sign of life.

4} I always take pictures of my outfit.  They just don't make it off my camera/phone.

5} This is "our" spot.  It's a random field adjacent to the dog park, where we can let
Weiser run and have a leisurely walk.

6} This is a "crustless pizza" that does have a crust, it's just made out of cauliflower.
I made it for Will's birthday dinner!
I will have to pass along the recipe soon!

7} Will doesn't like cake or most sweets, so I made him Blueberry pastries.
Safeway had a sale on blueberries, so I threw this together and it was de-lish!

The blogs I would like to pass the Kreativ Blogger award to are:

1} Sarah @ Simply Sarah

2} Desiree @ Mama And Her Boys

4} Michelle P. @ Making Sense of Cents

5}  Steph @ The Sweet Life

Some of these ladies are like sisters to me, some dear friends already and some new interests of mine...That means you need to CHECK'EM!!

I can't wait to get through this week, to get to our weekend getaway BUT I want time to stand still because I don't want Will to deploy :(  I think for the first time ever- I am truly cherishing each and every day.  You should too <3

Happy Birthday To My Better Half!

The Hubs is havin' a birthday today!
We are enjoying a relaxing weekend, to prepare for the shenanigans we have planned for next weekend, but he's getting spoiled rotten with presents, yummy food and then in turn playing with all his new toys.

I can't help but spoil him when he treats me so wonderfully:

Plus he's so dreamy <3

So what are we doing next weekend? I'm sure Will is wondering this too...Which is why I made a HANDMADE card with the details!  We will be heading up to Denver on Friday, and the following will ensue:

Atmosphere concert (one of his fave artists)
A night out and slumber party with some friends
 Exploration of downtown
A visit to the Denver Art Museum
Saturday night at a cozy B&B
AND
We will be dining at Benihanas

After all this- I will have officially gotten him back for how crazy he went at Christmas! ;)

He deserves it all, though.  Not only is he amazing, but he is deploying.  He deserves everything I can possibly give him before he leaves.

So what is inspiring me this week?

Our Weekend Getaway! Duh!

(You know you liked that segue)

Make Sunday count y'all...As a matter of fact make EVERY DAY count.

Ps. Marital Bliss Part 2 is coming up soon, but I keep getting inspired and changing/adding to the reviews! Just be ready ;)

Q-Tags

Yup- I decided that this "Tag" needed a name.  It may or may not die with this post, but for now-
"Q-Tags" is the name...as in Q&A tag. (I thought the former was catchier)
My Blog twin Sarah tagged me, because she is a good twin, so now I get to share it with you!

Rules-
The first rule of this Q-tags, is that you must not talk about Q-tags....
Until you re-post it, that is ;)

{1} You must post the rules.
{2} Post eleven fun facts about yourself on this post.
{3} Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
{4} Tag eleven people and link them on your post
{5} Let them know you've tagged them.

11 Facts about me-

{1} My #1 favorite restaurant in the ENTIRE world is Benihanas.

Circa 2009

I have eaten there for my Birthday for the last EIGHT years!  Now that's dedication.

{2} I'm sometimes viewed as a health nut...although, I have been letting loose quite a bit lately.
Unfortunately, I only learned that letting loose is not as great as it sounds...
Pass the veggies!

{3} I love movies! Whether it's a movie night out, snuggling on the house or simply in the background while I blog- I heart them.  I don't really have favorites (I just like them all) but we did just see "We Bought a Zoo" and it was phenomenal!!

{4} I went sky diving for my 21st Birthday. It.Was.Awesome.

{5} I'm really good at budgeting...Don't know where I got it from, but Will and I have an awesome system.  Most people see budgeting as a restriction, but I see it as freeing.  I get to budget "fun money" and vacation funds, and enjoy the fruits of my budget.  It's not about constriction. It's about being aware of where your $ is going and prioritizing.
I know I sound like a dork. I'm ok with that.

{6} I HATE loud noises.  Door slams, balloon pops, abrupt yelling;
They make my stomach queasy.

{7} I love chocolate. Shocker.  What I can't live without? COFFEE.

{8} I am in the process of learning to drive a stick.  I'm doing juuuuust fine  EXCEPT for when Will mentions going out on the main roads.  Then I freak and stall out. Everytime.

{9}
I sat on Zsa Zsa Gabor's lap.
I got to go shopping with the All American Rejects credit card.
I danced with Usher at Timbaland's house.
I sang for Randy Jackson and the entire Ft. Lauderdale Boat Parade- impromptu.

{10} I was in a sorority.
Delta Phi Epsilon, baby.
"To be, rather than to seem to be."

Circa 2007
{11} I was once a cake decorator at The Great American Cookie Company. Fun job.
Buy me a cookie cake and you will be my best friend.

Sarah's Questions-

{1} If you could go anywhere in the world, money not being an issue, where would you go and why?
At the moment- any beach will do to get me away from the Colorado cold.  Next would be the Mediterranean, and I specifically want to visit Greece and Italy.
{2} What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
One might say the skydiving, but in my opinion- I think it's the fact that I decided to marry a man that was going in to the military.  Definitely crazy, but he's worth it.

{3} If you could have any car in the world what would you choose?
'67 Mustang Shelby.  There's just nothing like the sound of that engine.

{4} If you could have dinner with 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
My Grandma, my daddy and my best friend Dani. They are all alive, I just miss them terribly since they are all on the East Coast.

{5} Least favorite chore.
Dishes.

{6} What's the best vacation you've been on?
It's a toss up between Europe and the cruise that Will proposed to me on...leaning towards
 the latter.

{7} What is your food weakness?
French fries. I CAN'T say no.

{8} What was your first concert?
 The Y-100 Jingle Ball

{9} What's your favorite part about blogging?
Connecting with and learning from all of you lovelies, along with that feeling of fulfillment.
I'm also very pleased to be tapping into my writing again!

{10} How many first kisses have you had?
I'd like to plead the 5th on this one.
All that matters is that I am proud to say that I will never have another first kiss, and am blessed to have the perfect man to kiss for the rest of our lives.

{11} What would your dream job be?
Professional Blogger. Duh.
Other than that- I would say a combo of event planning and marketing. I'd want to make my own hours, though, and I'd want to be able to do it my way.  Clients need to trust in the ideas of their planner.
Questions from Moi to YOU-

{1} Where were you born?
{2} Who influenced you the most as a child?
{3} Is there any significance to your name?
i.e. Jan is my mom's middle name and Anna was my grandmother's name.
{4} What's your pet-peeve?
{5} What is your favorite color?
{6} What song inspires you the most?
{7} What is your favorite book?
(I need some good new reads ;)
{8} What is your best piece of advice about blogging?
{9} Where do you see yourself in ten years?
{10} What makes you, you?
{11} Do you like me?
Circle:

YES                           NO

Makeup Tutorial

Happy Hump Day!
It's one of those busy weeks, which always seem to coincide with busy blog weeks, so my posting is all out of order.  I planned on posting part two of "Marital Bliss" on Monday, but a few lovely ladies were still picking up the book.
(That means there is still time if you haven't picked it up or now want to join in! Find info here.
Then there was the badass Tattoo link up, that I just HAD to participate in, and now I have been tagged in several of the fun posts that are going around, which I like to do promptly to credit the tagger(s).  One of them is an accent Vlog, thus my makeup tutorial had to be posted today, since I put such emphasis on it being my first vlog....Now I know that I am not held to that, but there is just something in me, that feels the need to keep to my promises.  Do y'all do that? Feel like since you posted that you would do something- that you MUST follow through?  I can be flexible with some things and I try not to make promises I can't keep, but sometimes I feel like I am bound by my words on blogger, in spite of everything.

Oh well, point is- Now you get a VLOG!

Preface:
This is a makeup tutorial, just as the title denotes, but I am no professional.  I'd like to think my makeup looks good, but regardless, it's what works for me.  If you think I look like a clown- please refrain from throwing it in my face ;)

{If you have any questions regarding products, feel free to ask!}

#1- Sorry it's longer than I planned, but it is a tutorial so I didn't want to rush.
#2 You might need to turn up the volume.
#3 I probably should have looked into the camera while applying, but just so you know- I had to set up the camera on top of a box, placed precariously on top of the sink, so my angles were hard to work with...I only just now realized that I could have used my tripod...whoops!
#4 I hope you don't find it boring.
#5 It's my first EVER Vlog. Don't judge.

Aaaannnnd the Finished Product:

With a little Picnik editing and the appropriate posing of course!

Have a great day y'all!!

"I Heart Tattoos" Link Up!

Lately around these parts, Tuesday has been synonymous with Sometimes & Always, but today there is more...I try to have a different theme every Tuesday to change up the link-up and this weeks theme presented itself.  Courtesy of Raven, I will be dedicating today to TATTOOS!

A Mommas Desires and Pacifiers

*GASP*
Are those even acceptable in the blog world??
Don't know- Don't care.
Plus, I know that even if you disagree with tattoos, you can't help but be fascinated by them,
and even more importantly- I know that you wouldn't try to argue with Raven.

Let us not forget- We are combining "I Heart Tattoos" and "Sometimes & Always".
That's like having a devil (Raven) on one shoulder and an angel (Meg) on the other.  If you know them- you are SO nodding your head in agreement right now ;)

Sometimes: People don't believe me when I tell them I have tattoos.
Always: I am proud to challenge their stereotypes of people with tattoos.

Sometimes: I even forget that I have tattoos.
Always: When I see them in the mirror, they make me smile.

Sometimes: I wonder if I will ever regret my tattoos.
Always: I have never had regret for any thing in my past, so I will probably always see them as life experience and TOTALLY worth it.

Sometimes: I wish I could cover my body in tattoos like this~

Source: bing.com via Janna on Pinterest

Always: I realize that it would make me look like I was trying too hard.  I'm just not cool enough to pull that off...

Sometimes: I claim to be DONE with tattoos.
Always:  I continue adding to the ones I have, and because of Raven- I now have plans for at least three more.  Don't worry, they are lil' thangs!
