We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming...Koreans are coming! Koreans are coming!

Okay, so you know how everyone is talking about blog drama, and saying that it is not as important as the fact that North Korea's threatening with missiles?

Well, I'm here to tell you that the government thinks that TODAY is the day.
I'm not even shitting you.
I talked to a Government Contractor yesterday, and the White House actually has confirmation and is on alert. Why did this guy tell me this? Because I always get the scoop at the Hoot. It's like Homeland Security doesn't exist inside those walls. For example: I knew when and where Will was deploying before he even knew he actually was deploying! True Story.

The good news, is that I asked him what they will do if the missile launches, and apparently it will get stopped mid air. Thank goodness for technology because Japan and America are pointing our own weapons at his missiles. Still going to be a shit show.

In case we do get blown up:
I'm happy I have been eating a lot of cheeseburgers lately.
At least I won't have to deal with my cold symptoms anymore.
I want my closet room to go to Kelly. {If she survives, duh}
And I hope my husband knows just how priceless he is to me.
Cheers to eternity together!

Moral of the story:
I should make my career choice in espionage.
If Kim Jong-Un sees all the memes we created about him, that nuke is going to point at us!
I don't like blog drama and bloggers that don't like bloggers that say they don't like blog drama.
Yeah...try to figure that one out ;)

I Need Confession, But I'm Not Catholic

I confess...I knew that with all of your help, I would WIN the Bracket Babes Competition!

 photo BB1_zpsa1f2b8ce.jpg

I confess...I want to live in a fancy house to decorate and be all bloggerific, but I like saving money more. Our "vintage" rental takes care of the two of us just fine. Plus, I don't think I'm as into decorating as Pinterest makes me think I am. True Story.

I confess...I left a bag of chicken thawing in the fridge and it got everywhere. And Will licked it. BLEH. Why he thought it smart to lick the outside of a can that had "something" on it is beyond me, but lesson learned...use a bowl. I blame it on being sick.

I confess...I enjoyed laying in bed all weekend. I thought I would be sad I missed the BBQ, but instead, I was absolutely loving the relaxation. It really was just what I needed.

I confess...that I eat these like they are going out of business:

I am completely obsessed with them and I don't even feel bad about it!

I confess...I am a little obsessed with my gym time lately. I need to find a happy medium. I don't want to get burnt out, or get to an unrealistic level. Once your body gets used to excessive exercise it doesn't want you to slack off. I want to have fun with it and not take it to the excessive level.

I confess...I haven't weighed or measured myself in over a month. I'm finding it much easier to just focus on pushing myself during work outs and choosing yummy, healthy food. I'm really beginning to think the scale is the WORST part of a healthy lifestyle. It's about how you feel, not what you weigh.

I confess...I'm for gay marriage. Love is love is love. I wouldn't want anyone to tell me who to love, so I'm not going to judge the choices of others. Last I checked, that was the big man upstairs job.

I confess...I fret over whether to post about controversial things on le blog, but I don't allow that to stop me. My happy place can include sharing and sticking up for what I believe in.

I confess...I don't know if it's against some rules to do one of these posts without knowing when the "link up" is or who hosts the link up. I just felt like confessing. Sorry, I'm not sorry.

I confess...I think blogger drama is just plain ridonkulous.
If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Don't judge others.
Don't be a snob.
Don't assume everyone else is a snob.
Don't be so insecure.
Don't be a hater.
Promote what you love, don't bash what you hate.

ETD, Not STD

Well, this weekend didn't turn out as planned.
Instead of gym time, BBQ's, and friends, there was Urgent Care, swollen glands, and Motrin. Luckily, I just had a little Viral Infection, but my swollen gland was on the back left of my neck behind a muscle and weee doggie it hurt! I guess my body decided that I needed rest this weekend, so I caught some extra zzz's, tried to catch up on blogging, cuddled up with the hubby to watch The Hobbit, and enjoyed a marathon of Men In Trees and Matlock. Don't judge me. I love Matclock.

Here are my thoughts from the weekend:

...Does anyone remember the show Men In Trees?
I LOVED that show, so Will has gotten me a couple of seasons. I think all single ladies should watch it, but anyone that wants a good show about leaving your comfort zone would enjoy it. They just don't make shows like this anymore.

...Apple is extremely annoying, but my friends make me laugh about it.
Particularly Dustin...Oh and Ms. Mary? She was my ride to elementary school ;)

...I learned that the annoying crackling sound that you get in your ear when sick is called Eustachian Tube Dysfuntion or ETD. Basically, you have to load up on the decongestants and gum, just like flying. That noise drives me batshit crazy, so I'm happy I found a way to calm it down.

...Will is my hero.
Other than the obvious reasons {hello sexy soldier}, he cooked, cleaned, gave up time with his friends to take care of me, AND fixed my iPod and phone. Just when I think this man can't get any better, he leaves me speechless again. I can't wait until I'm all better so that I can properly thank him.
LOVE you, babe!

Now, I haven't heard from the radio station about the results, but either way, I still have a winner to reveal! I am so happy that Nicole from Life's A Beach snagged the prize :) I love all who entered, but I love it when loyal followers and friends win. Just bein' honest.

Congratulations girl!
Send me your address and I will have your gift on the way.

Pot Pie Muffins

I pinned this recipe a while ago, and boy am I glad I did.
It was so EASY, comforting, and delish that I can't wait to make it again!

 photo ChickPotMuffins_zps6f1a69a9.jpg

Preheat oven to 400.
Combine all ingredients except for your choice of dough.
Lightly grease muffin tin, and either divide Puff Pastry dough into each tin or follow directions on phyllo package for a nice, light, flaky alternative. A little more work, but totally worth it.
Spoon pie mixture into each cup.
Bake for about 15 minutes, just be sure to keep an eye out around 12 minutes.

Here is another version for anyone that eats "clean", and if you have extra filling, put it over toast or in a pita for more great alternatives.

My final thought for today, is that anyone near East Colorado needs to join the Denver Bloggers Facebook Page that Sami started. We all need to meet up, and I think this will be the best way to get everyone together! Shoot, you don't even have to live in Colorado. We will take visitors too ;)

Everyone have a GREAT weekend, and just remember to vote {and tell your friends}.
