It's official...I took this test so I must have ADHD!
Only I'm not hyperactive, and I really don't think I have an attention deficit...I think it's more that I put too much on my plate at one time. The ol' brain just goes a million miles a minute at times, which leads to this:
I would blame it on blogging, but for as much added stress as it causes, it also gives me a place to collect all my thoughts and organize my mind. This week I have the following on my mind:
Our upcoming Anniversary.
Our trip to Denver celebrating said Anniversary.
My awesome husband that had dinner waiting when I got home.
The Magic Bullet that I picked up at Costco for $34.99
The Green Smoothie Challenge with Kristine and Katherine that I will be using said Magic Bullet for. It kicks off April 22nd!
{Don't worry, this is simply having a green smoothie once per day, NOT a crazy cleanse}
My sexy husband.
What to do in Denver...what to do...
Erin is really cute.
I need these next three days to fly by.
AND the Origami Owl giveaway!
Make sure you enter the giveaway.

I feel like ADHD is most probably overdiagnosed and overmedicated. Sometimes there's just plain old kids who are naughty at school, so it feels like they slap them with the ADHD label and medicate them....and they are still just as naughty at school. I have a cousin like that. My husband got diagnosed with ADHD when he was in college and still takes medication for it, but I don't think he'll want to do that for the rest of his life...
I myself am highly distractable and can think/talk about many different subjects at once, but I function well that way! (As I'm sure you do, too!)
ADHD oh man I could go on and on about this but I will not. I am convinced I have it though.
WOOHOO anniversary planning how fun!
I think parents are scared to label their children so many don't get tested. It's a shame, because often these kids fall through the craps because they literally can't concentrate.
xoxo
haha i must take this test!! i am sure i have at least some form of it!
Yay for anniversary planning! So exciting! :)
having help raise two brother one with ADHD and one with ADD i can safely say sometimes teachers and parents panic for no reason some kids are just kids
I always toe the line with this one because where do you say a kid is just being a kid or a kid has ADHD? So confusing and reason number 239073450943 I am not ready to be a parent. Crossing my fingers for Origami Owl!
Oh I definitely have ADD!
I agree with Kait on this one! Its a fine line and some kids are just kids. I remember being wild and having fun!
I always thought I had it growing up but after taking that test I only scored an 11.
That ecard is hilarious, it's definitely me! haha. :)
I think I have selective ADHD... is that even possible?!
Congrats on the upcoming anniversary, and I hope you learn to love your Magic Bullet as much as I love mine. They are absolutely perfect for making smoothies. It's probably the best investment I've made in the past few months!
Happy Wednesday!
I think ADD and ADHD are WAY over diagnosed and overmedicated. I do believe there are some people who truly do suffer from it, but not the quantity you see today. I've been accused of having it as well. But like you I think I just put too much on my plate and have too much going on in my mind.
I think it does exist but less frequently then most people think!

i'm going with more the thoughts of brain overload. Yeah there are people with ADHD but I think now days people put a lot on their plate!
This is so funny! I'm still cracking up over the "diagnosis" and all it tells you. I kinda want to take the test altho I'm scared it will say the same for me!! Happy Anniversary to you two :) And I'm excited for the green smoothie challenge too, just had one today... I really like them!
ok so I ALWAYS thought the magic bullet was a sex toy. Always. I still kinda do...
I would say you could hangout with me in Denver but I don't think that's very romantic ;)
Ha! My Child Development instructor discusses this frequent... Some of us need to realize that it's not the 80's anymore and we have so much more than we did then... And everything is just marketing now, it's all about the money, money. I'm sure if I were to go in to get myself checked out, I could be diagnosed for a few things... However, I don't like taking medications... There is only one pill I vouch for. Other than that, I like to do things more natural. I might sound hypercritical, but I just feel kids/people are being over diagnosed and getting labelled as ADD or whatnot. I think maybe we are able to multi task more now than then. Some people just overdo it. But I don't feel like it's necessary to put them on medication.
I took the test & scored 14... Lower than expected.
That e-card describes me down to a t.
I love the Origami Owl necklaces, I started to order one last time you featured them and then found out that they don't ship to the UK, sad times!
I think ADHD and ADD are overdiagnosed and overmedicated. Sometimes I think can be used as an excuse sometimes to not control, discipline or teach your children how to behave. People want to put a label on their kids, themselves to easily excuse or explain behavior. I think adults can use it as an excuse to be lazy - i.e. not get things done because they have "ADD." Do I think people really suffer from this - absolutely. I just don't think it's a rampant as it appears.
