Flu Season: 2013


It's been years since I've been sick, but I guess I was due. So far my fever has only gotten up to 100.1, so let's just hope I'm on the down slope.


It's a good thing that I have the sexiest man-nurse in the world taking care of me ;)
Actually, I have two. Weiser has barely left my side today.

And now my energy is spent. I will leave you with a funny story that I particularly love, since it has basically happened to us. Just imagine...

Husband comes home late and drunk, breaks some crockery, vomits, and falls down on the floor… his wife pulls him up, takes him to bed, and cleans up everything.

The next day when he gets up he expects her to be really angry with him… he’s hoping that they don’t have a fight. As he walked to the kitchen he sees a note near the table…

“Honey, your favorite breakfast is ready on the table, I had to leave early to buy groceries… I’ll come running back to you, my love. I love you.”

He’s very surprised and asks his son, “What happened last night?”
His son said, “When you got home, you were as dunk as a skunk, and mom pulled you to bed and tried removing your boots and shirt. And you yelled…

‘HEY LADY! LEAVE ME ALONE… I AM MARRIED!’”

    Awe! I saw this on Facebook a few weeks back and laughed my butt off! It really is the sweetest thing :p Keep those nurse maids working and feel better! :)

    Get better soon gorgeous! That nasty flu is definitely going around, ugh. We didn't get fevers, but we had every other symptom.

    Haha hilarious!! Hope you feel better! I have an appointment to get a flu shot today. Never had one before, but maybe it will keep me from getting this crazy flu!

    I've heard that little story before. I love it! So cute. Hope you feel better soon. We both must be doing something right as I was sick with a cold a year ago and I honestly think I was in college the last time I had the flu.

    Oh girl, I hope you feel better! I had a fever of 103 yesterday - finally broke late last night and am feeling a lot better today. Hopefully your sickness won't last long!

    Hope you are feeling better. We were hit w/ the flu this year, too! B is not fully recovered either. He has missed a few weeks of his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class as well. Get lots of rest!!

    I love that story, it's so cute. It reminds me of myself... I once had to unlock the bathroom door from the outside to get into B as he was quiet w/ the shower running. So glad I did it. Better that I take care of him than for something bad to happen. :)
