I Call It A Win!

I would like to introduce you all to the soldier that caused all the hubbub.
Meet Fonz....

Does he look threatening to you?
I think not.

I am pleased to share that although the bar is covering their ass not admitting fault, they have extended an apology and has thanked Fonz for his service! They also invited us up there, but I told them that we would NOT be gracing them with our presence.
They didn't push the subject after that.
Apparently, we rattled them so much so that they had to get their lawyers involved.  I call it a win.

We couldn't have accomplished all this without all the support of our friends and family, so thank you to all that participated and/or supported us. All of your comments count ;)
Seriously though, you should have seen what Bethany sent to their corporate.
She burned them GOOD.
Just another reason that I love that girl ;)

Do you know what else I realized?
I never shared the pictures from when we had a double date snowboarding with Fonz and Christin!

So who's coming to visit for ski season next year?

Sometimes: Standing up for something or someone can be daunting.
Always: That high you get from doing what's right is worth it every time!

Sometimes: Killing someone with kindness is the best option.
Always: You catch more bees with honey.
In our case, we killed them, but then finished them off with kindness.
Our form of reverse psychology.

Sometimes: My blood sugar gets out of whack when I get too excited.
Always: I'd rather be passionate than have stable sugar levels.

Sometimes: You lose followers when you post anything controversial.
Always: Sorry, I'm not sorry.
I'm standing up for something. What was the last thing you stood up for?
(And unfollowing me DOES NOT count as standing up for anything)

For those of you that continue to stick around my blog- You make my life.
I don't know where I would be without y'all.

  4. Good for you for standing up for what you believe in. If other people can't handle that then you don't want them around anyway. Glad everything worked out for your friend.

  14. I think it is so awesome that you made them realize how innapropriate they are!! I will never go there and I have let all my friends in Denver know as well. A place like that does not deserve our money! I love snowboarding! If you are down we should go sometime this winter :)
