This Guy...

I popped into Pensacola for my BABY BROTHER'S graduation, and I miss this guy so much it hurts. I know I sound like a co-dependent twit, but I can't stop-won't stop. When he texts me things like "PAY ATTENTION TO ME", "I don't know what to do with myself when you're not here", and "I just got into bed alone, and I don't like it", I just completely melt.

I'm used to him going to training, schools, and even deployments, but I don't know if I'll ever get used to leaving him. I hate losing time with him outside of the time we already lose, so anytime that I am away from him...I feel like it's wrong. If you've ever heard the phrase, "Live like their deploying", then maybe you understand, but either way, I hope you all appreciate the time you have with your special someone.

My great uncle Tom passed away yesterday, and I know aunt Consuela loved him to the fullest. I'm positive that it is giving her solace, because it gives us peace knowing that she was by his side until the end. There is no such thing as too much love, so 'overuse I love you', hold hands, and squeeze as tight as you can with every hug. The only regret you can have with love, is not loving enough, and I hope you never have that regret.

  1. You're no twit, you an increidble example of unconditional love and what a beauty marriage can be. I can't imagine having to deal with the thought of deployment as a constant, you are so strong and brave my love.

I love when my husband texts me sweet things too. It just makes my heart fuller!

  9. I hate when Kev isn't here either (Like right now...I finalyl was able to share that he has left us for the rest of the year- sad). Like your Will, he is my most favorite person to be around and I never get tired of it! I miss him so much right now.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle.

I agree with you 110%, you can never overuse the phrase "I love you". & it's not like anyone doesn't want to hear that. So, said it loud & often! :)

  12. Oh girl, I hear you. I feel the same way when we're apart. I mean, we don't have to spend as much time apart as you guys do, but still. It's something terrible when we do. And I definitely agree that you can't over use "I love you"!

  15. For us, I've always been the one "leaving" Angel for one reason or another--usually family responsibilities call me while he stays home and works--and every time we're apart I do just hate it. It's true, we got married to actually be together, not to still be separated! I think it's a good thing to still miss you man like crazy!

  16. Its so hard being away from the one your so long to live each and every moment with. I chose to stay in Cola for a month and half longer after G PCSed to TN and it was so hard to be with out him and missing all of that time together. You'd think after so many deployments, schools and trainings you'd get used to it but you don't. It just makes your heart grow stronger for that person!!!
