Precious Moments

There are precious moments in life that almost seem too beautiful to be real.
My niece's Baptism is now one of those moments for me.

On Sunday, we drove up to Andalusia, AL. so that sweet Madelyn could receive her Baptism from the very same Minister that blessed her father, my brother Michael. He was our childhood Minister, so it was full of memories and love for all of us. Reverend Tim is retiring soon, which means Madelyn will be one of the last children he blesses. For that, we were all very thankful that she brought us all back together.

Maddy was a perfect little doll the entire service, and entertained us through lunch and dessert at her Great-Great Aunt Maggie's. I had so much fun snapping pictures all day, and I think she has become my favorite subject. She's like a real life Precious Moments doll.

Babies are such amazing little beings that remind us to not take life so serious. The innocence and purity of soul really take your breath away even if we have all become enamored with moving forward. I am thankful that my brother and SIL created this little one so that yours truly has been stilled. I love you Madelyn, always and forever.

I Call BS On Conscious Uncoupling.

Dear Gwyneth Paltrow,
I have no problem with divorce. I would much rather someone get a divorce than remain in a bad or loveless marriage, but glorifying divorce so that you can make it 'cool' is wrong. You can tell the media that you are doing this for your kids until you are blue in the face, but it's pretty obvious that you are simply trying to validate your choice for the 'Big D'. It would be nice if people took your lead and had amicable divorces for the 'kids', but I forsee couples giving up on their marriages instead of putting effort in 'because Gwyneth Paltrow did it' and Conscious Uncoupling becoming the cool thing. Especially when you tell people that we aren't meant for monogamy. THAT IS NOT YOUR PLACE TO SAY JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A CELEBRITY. You need to stick to following scripts that are written for you, because you are not the screenwriter for our society.

Dear Anyone That Ever Gets Married,
Be in a relationship that you would want your children to have. If you haven't found your life partner, look for the caliber that you would want for your children, and don't settle for what you think you deserve. I can guarantee that you deserve more than you think. If you have found your life partner, you {both} need to put the effort into have a good relationship, and you need to make sure that you are achieving a marriage that will show your children what they deserve. People say that our marriage is 'perfect', and even though there is no such thing as perfection, what we do have is because we WORK for our marriage. We put in 1000% effort, because the more effort you put into the marriage, the more love and happiness you get out. It's a proven fact, people.

Dear Husband of Mine,
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for sharing this magical adventure of true love. I really can't think of something to call it other than magical or true, because I don't know how we have reached this euphoric level of love, we have become one heart, one brain with two bodies, and we defy all odds. No matter what life has thrown at us: debt, distance, immaturity, ego, fear, deployments, etc., we have found a way to work through it, and I am happy that we can give hope to others. LOVE IS REAL, and I can honestly say we prove that. As my cynical friend Todd says, "If you two don't work out, there is no such thing as love. Don't f#$% it up for the rest of us." I know we will never let Todd down, and that is the most comforting bit of knowledge I've ever come across.

Feel free to forward this on to Gwyneth, I'd love to have a few choice words with her. If she can tell the world that monogamy isn't real, then we should be able to prove to her that it is. Mark my words, she will eventually find her soulmate, and she will be eating this crap she's spreading around. Mark my words.

Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do... but how much love we put in that action. ~Mother Teresa

Coconut Sriracha Popcorn

Have you ever been the only non-senior in a Senior Center? It wasn't on my bucket list, but I went over to Grandma's yesterday, and it happened to be her brown-bag lunch day at church. We made chicken salad together, and then went to hang out with the 80-somethings. They seemed surprised to see me, but I've been going to Sunday school with my grandma and grandpa {may he rest in peace} since I was born. I think they were most surprised when I mentioned I was married. They thought I was fourteen, let alone old enough to get married. When I told them that I was twenty-eight, they 'bout fell out'a their chairs. I get that a LOT, but it still cracks me up.

The conversations ranged from sex on their wedding nights {whoah} all the way to recipes, and one that they thought most intriguing was our new popcorn recipe. The ones that didn't have crowns said they would totally try it, so I decided to share it for all of you. I got the original idea through Pinterest {shocker} and Reclaiming Provincial, and then we edited for our needs. Basically, we took out the salt and used the microwave, but hey, it worked.

4 cups popcorn (26 grams unpopped)
3 Tbsp butter
1-2 Tbsp coconut oil (depending on how much you love Coconut)
2 Tbsp Sriracha

We prefer using our air popper for the healthiest version, but you could use bagged or pop on the stove. While it's popping, mix up the ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and pop it in the microwave for two minutes. Now here's the secret, you want to slowly spoon the mixture on while stirring so that it will evenly distribute and not over-saturate the kernels, and then enjoy this slightly spicy, coconutty, yumminess while it's warm!

Just make sure you don't eat the popcorn as your dinner followed by margaritas. You will be drunk in point-five seconds. Or do, if you are into that kind of thing ;)

Now I'm off to pick up grandma to go see my aunt and uncle. I can't even put into words how thankful I am that I have this family time right now. The fact that I have one grandma within walking distance and one a few miles away makes me giddy like a school girl. Literally...it brings me back to childhood. How did I get so lucky?

You Know What's Super Awesome?

+ I got to see Will at church yesterday!
I can't go into too many details yet, but I will be getting to see him on Sundays. Thank you, Candace, for letting us in on that little secret. It was the first time that I've ever seen my husband and not gotten to kiss those amazing lips, but just being near him gave me butterflies. I kept trying to say 'I love you', and my eyes would well up. I had to wait until everyone was singing so that I wouldn't make a scene. It was AWESOME.

+ I got to dress up for church yesterday!

This particular dress is sold out, but you can find a similar cut here, and it's an extra 50% off!

+ Thirty days until Will graduates and thirty-one days until our Anniversary!
Unfortunately we will have family in town for his graduation, so we won't be celebrating right away. I'm happy that they are coming to support him, and I wouldn't have it any other way, except I kinda would...I want to be selfish and have him all to myself. He's too amazing to share, so really it's his fault I feel this way. {Momma and Fonzi if you are reading this, you KNOW we are excited to see you, so don't read into this ;} Maybe he and I can do something that weekend, since he's already mentioned it. I'd love to go to Panama City for a little getaway, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

I do know one thing we get to do! Before I left Colorado, one of my favoritist regulars ever gave us an Anniversary card, and we have been impatiently waiting to open it. Let me tell you, holding onto a card for three months through a cross-country move is hard. Usually I would just open it and pretend to be surprised later, but I waited because Dan told us too and he's the best. If you read this, Hi Dan!

+ Seeing as I have no job and no hubby to take care of, I can take off for Pensacola!
I've packed up two weeks worth of clothes and dog food, and we are heading home. I could try to cover it up for creepers reading the blog, but it's pretty hard to hide via all my forms of social media. Damn you social media! I will be back and forth, so no one will know when I'm really gone and I have people checking on the house. If you try to creep while I'm there, I'll just shoot you, and if you break in while I'm gone, make sure you take EVERYTHING because we have really great renters insurance. I kid I kid. Sort of.

I'm going to try to catch a few hours rest, but I probably won't sleep. I'm quite excitable right before travel. I'm just glad that I've gotten all my ducks in a row, I think. Considering I tend to finish packing five minutes after I'm supposed to leave, I already feel ahead of the game. Mr. Weiser and I are off to Florida for some fun in the sun. Ciao bella!

Dear Life

You know, I don't know if I've ever done 'Friday's Letters'. I've seen it floating around for years, but I guess it just never struck my fancy. However, I wanted to include a note I wrote to Will before he left, so it seems appropriate.

Dear Netflix,
You are my hero. Between you and eating my feelings, this month will go by just fine.

Dear dishes,
I MOTHEREFFIN' hate you with a MOTHEREFFIN' passion. We are not friends and never will be. Oh, how I wish this new dishwasher didn't suck. The joys of renting.

Dear me,
Don't rent the wrong movie from Redbox. Let me explain...I'm kind of behind on the Hunger Games craze because I really don't like children killing children and the message that sends, but Will talked me into watching it. He already had the first one on digits, so then we decided to rent the second one. Silly me didn't think that Redbox would have both of them at the same time, and I ended up renting the first one. I had a free rental, so technically it didn't cost anything, but I still felt like a big dummy. I will tell you that when we did watch the second one, I liked it better than the first since no children were harmed, and think I may even read the books before we see the third. I still won't watch or read Twilight, so let's not even go there. I really mean no offense, Twihards. I just don't do vampires.

Mi Amor,
The day has finally come...We are embarking on our biggest adventure thus far, and I have never been more proud of you. You have truly earned this step in your career, and I am honored to be standing next to you for this process. It's funny that six years ago you were searching for direction in all the wrong places, and now it's as if this job was made for you. You are the epitome of a soldier, and you are definitely going to make the HOTTEST pilot I've EVER seen. Just thinking about that...dayum. This next month is simply a means to an end, so I hope it flies by as quickly as possible. Try to have fun {without getting an Article 15}, and I'll see you at church! I love you with all my heart, and you are my everything. You won't truly be gone because you are always in my heart.

I really have no complaints {other than the aforementioned}, and I'm just going to make the most of the time he is gone. I'm just a lucky girl to have someone to miss this much. Hope y'all enjoy the first weekend of Spring! It's lookin' like we're gonna have a bit of one around these parts, and hopefully you do too. At least some of you?

I Can't Wait For Summer Because...

Helene In Between

...We will definitely be exploring this new post and taking advantage of the mini water parks and Lake Tholocco. This is going to be amazing in the hot, humid, South.

...Perhaps I will be able to break out my wakeboard on the lake.
...We can hop down to Pensacola and Panama beaches whenever we like.
...And my baby brother's graduation happens in June!
How in the H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks did he grow up so fast???

I mean seriously, is there ANYTHING better than summer? Okay, okay, I think Spring is better too, but we all know there isn't going to be a Spring this year. Damn you Mother Nature! Summer just has to be good this year...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So now let me tell you about some awesome friends of mine.
Out of the kindness of their hearts they donated to care packages for the soldiers while Will was deployed, and now they have gone and created their own non-profit for supporting the homeless. Get this...they make PB&J's and pass them out around South Florida!!  In less than a week, 500 people have 'Liked' their news Facebook page, and Laura told Micah that if they make it to 1,000 likes by April they can have another baby. We NEED people like this procreating, so go 'like' the PB&J Facebook page.
About
We help the homeless of, Fort Lauderdale! We provide, Food, Clothing, Toiletries, and other basic needs, through Love and Compassion.
Mission
To show people they are not alone. To show the less fortunate, people do care. Help them, any way we can. Fight for, peoples right to exist. To be a voice, when no one will listen! To feed hungry, People!
Last but not least, I want to personally apologize because I overlooked a terrible mistake in my editing process of my last post: "was these egg shell tights" obviously should have read "were these egg shell tights". Doh! I used the correct form of 'they're', so I'm sure no one's too mad, but as this is one of my pet peeves, I must admit my fault. Normally I would simply correct my error and move on, but I just talked with Samantha about the misuse of advice/advise, which reminded me about when Jenn taught me how to use affect/effect, and my overall annoyance with seen vs. saw, and I realized that it's okay when we make mistakes. I never judge anyone because I know that some things are writers choice and that we ALL make mistakes, but that doesn't mean we can't be mindful of our errors.
In an era of shorthand/internet speak, we should be proud of our language skills and try to better our abilities!
What are your pet peeves?
PS. If there are any mistakes in this post, I edited while tipsy. Hey, it's Will's last night! Do you really think editing or being sober was my priority? I'm soaking up every moment I can. One more lunch date to look forward to today, so I'm a happy girl.
My Three Favorite Pizza Tricks
Well, Top'O The Mornin' To Ya.
I think that it is a crime for St. Patty's Day to fall on a Monday, but I'm sure we all made up for that ahead of time. Not only did we have that McGuire's 5K; I went to a festive luncheon, and it was my very first Military Spouse event, as a matter of fact. One might say I'm a slacker of a military spouse for waiting four years to do this, but if you new what I had to work with at our last unit, you would understand.
Anywhosit, I was just as nervous as one might assume an introvert walking into a room full of powerful women would be, so I started planning my outfit out a week in advance. Although, the only thing I knew I wanted to wear were these egg shell tights. Don't ask me why I wanted to wear them, just tell me they're pretty. Please.
Now, I'm happy to report that they welcomed me with open arms, and I had a blast. There were Commanders wives, Mayors wives {from the surrounding towns}, veteran Flight wives, and new to Flight wives like myself, and everyone chatted it up like we were all equals. Yes, technically wives don't wear rank like their soldiers, but I know I sure as heck wouldn't approach a Commander's wife out of turn.
I can't wait to go again for just the food, but the Bingo and door prizes were pretty fun too. Speaking of food, we made pizza this weekend, and I thought I'd share my favorite tips for at home pizza. Whether you make your own crust/sauce or buy it, these tips are sure fire.
1 | ALWAYS buy fresh pepperoni from the deli. It will have so much more flavor, and you can use it for the pizza or to jazz up your sandwich.
2 | Whether you make or buy sauce, include: Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder, and Powdered Ranch. Adding these will always ensure the best flavors. Sugar isn't a bad idea either. I personally love sweet and spicy red sauces, so sugar and cocoa powder are staples.
3 | Broil the cheese for the last minute or two. If you take a look at the Papa John's we got recently, you will see the bronzed spots on the cheese. Those little spots change the entire flavor of the pizza, and look pretty fancy too. I actually did it by accident one time, but now I do it religiously. Just try it and thank me later.
I know you came for the yumminess, but a few healthy tips too:
4 | NEVER use White Wheat. You are already eating gobs of cheese, so make sure you start it off with a healthy wheat. Even if you don't make it from scratch, you can find pre-made whole wheat crusts these days or make the Cauliflower crust you see floating around Pinterest. It's actually good.
5 | Whether you load your pizza up with veggies {onion, bell peppers, artichokes, spinach, olives, basil, etc} or have a salad, always supplement so that you don't have to gorge yourself on pizza. Just make sure it's a yummy salad, or you will say screw it and have another slice. Pizza is good for the soul, so enjoy {in moderation}.
Today, I will be making Corned Beef and Cabbage in celebration since getting drunk until 4AM isn't an option. We actually love cabbage, so any excuse to eat it is good for us. Whether y'all party it up tonight or enjoy it low key, Happy St. Patty's day to you all!
Green Is My Favorite Color, But Never With Envy
Let me start this out by bragging  that I ate my first doughnut in YEARS the morning of the race. As much as I preach that calories don't come free, one does not say no to a fresh Krispy Kreme. I asked Will if he would eat half, but two bites in, I knew I might as well eat the whole thing. It was pure heaven, and the only thing that would have made it better would have been chocolate icing. Fun fact: Will and I got into a fight one time because he wouldn't go into Krispy Kreme with me after a night of drinking. Come to think of it, I'm still bitter about that. I'm not used to him telling me no, even if he does hate doughnuts. Seriously, who hates doughnuts?
I'll also blame my doughnut eating on the fact that I got zero sleep the night before and having to get up at 5AM. Technically we didn't have to be there until 8:30, but we caught a ride with my brothers and SIL who were working the race. We knew we'd be drinking aaaall day, so we planned ahead. No car, no DUI. Don't worry, we weren't the first ones there. By the time we showed up people were already dressed up and drankin'. No kidding, even Will was taking shots of Jameson at 7AM, for he said it was "cold". I can't play innocent, though. We ended up hanging out with some friends at a Crossfit gym, and they had me taking so many jello shots that I was lovin' all up on Will before the race even started. Don't judge.
This was in fact, the first 5K that Will or I had participated in, so we were all prepared to have 24 minute run times. Originally, we were going to head to the starting line as soon as we arrived, but our friends are bad influences and seduced us to stay and drink. From the picture above, I would say that we ended up behind about 5,000 people. However, I won't complain about weaving through the people as we ran; it made it more of a challenge. Plus, I was just enjoying running behind this hunk. It makes me think of those Memes where Ryan Gosling is at the finish line. Except mine's hotter.
Will finished first so he {tried} to take pictures of me crossing the finish line. If you've done a race, you know this is easier said than done with tons of runners crossing at the same time, but I found the following picture on one of the sites that had race recaps. So candid.
Candid / ╦łkandid/(of a photograph of a person) taken informally, esp. without the subject's knowledge. For everyone that takes selfies or has someone take your picture and says hashtagcandid, we all KNOW it's not really candid. Just thought you should know.
Now, I don't know how most 5K's are, but this one is more about the after party than anything. They give you FREE UNLIMITED BEER AND IRISH WAKES UNTIL NOON. I didn't even know this until the morning of. Can you believe it? All you can drink, and there weren't even lines to get the booze. You walked up, and they handed you a beverage of choice. My mind was blown, and it was party on.
Side Note: The blonde next to Will that isn't me, is a friend of his from high school in Virginia. We met up with her beforehand at the Crossfit gym, and she happened to be with friends that I used to go to church with! Just goes to show what a small world it is.
Even after noon we kept going since the other bars around had parties going on, but we still made it back to McGuire's to eat. You just can't beat their food while you are drinking, and I wanted to go mess with my little brother while he worked. Isn't he so cute in a bow tie?
You would think we stopped there, but our ride was coming to get us until 4:00, so back out we went.
With a few stops in between.
I can't wait for next year! You should come too.
Not Every Day Is Perfect
Part 1: I'm getting needy.
Unfortunately, it happens every time Will is going to be gone for an extended period of time. I've already complained once about him leaving for a month, so I didn't plan on complaining on le blog {at least until he was actually gone}, but it's the truth. I get needy when he's about to leave, and this time is no different. I cried yesterday because he didn't walk to warm up with me before our run. WTF? I swear I'm not PMS'ing. Luckily, Will knows me better than I know myself. At first he was a little confused at my sullen demeanor and weepy tendencies, but soon he was cuddling with me and telling me that it's okay that I get a little extra needy in times like this. The following is a real convo from last night.
Will: I don't tell you enough how much I appreciate what you do for me.
Me: Yes you do, even though I {jokingly} tell you that you don't.
Will: I just want to make you proud.
Me: You do, everyday. That's why supporting you is my favorite job in the world.
Will: Good, 'cuz I pretty much demanded it.
Part 2: Cancer Sucks
It's funny, I started a random 'serving' job six years ago, and now I'm understing just how much a part of me it has become. As I type this post, I just can't wrap my head around the fact that my old boss friend Lags, lost his battle with Cancer yesterday. Everyone is devastated because he was so incredibly full of life, one of those people who put everyone before himself, and this world truly was a better place because of him. Hooters wouldn't even be what it is today without him, and he's definitely one of the main reasons I stayed with the company so long.
He's the dude on the right. Looks like a normal guy, right?
He was one of five that started the South Florida franchise, and established himself as a part of Hooters {and basically a generation} of history.  He and the guys took me under their wings {no pun intended} and gave me opportunities that I never would have dreamed that a job could give you. They earned my loyalty to the brand over these years, and every time I pass a Hooters I will remember him.
Part 3: My vanity is now showing.
After reminiscing through old pictures with Lags and the gang, I'm now sad that my hair was {naturally} that blonde, and miss my year 'round tan from Florida living. I wouldn't trade being with Will for the world, but it would have been nice to keep my hair color as a consolation.
I promise, I'm not looking for an ounce of pity after this venting session.
I just want to remember that not every day is perfect, we lose time with the ones we love, and have to say 'so long' or forever good byes whether we want to or not. All we can do is hold our loved ones tight while we can, and make sure they know that we love them. You can never overuse 'I'm proud of...' or  I love you'. Hopefully we will be back to regularly scheduled programming on Friday! Until then, 'I'm proud of you!'
Playtime Is Ova'
Okay, so you know how we got here over a month ago?
That was because Will accrued so much leave that even with a month off, he still has several weeks of vacation time left. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, because I just got to have a month long playtime/sleepover/date with my bestest friend in the whole wide world. It's truly an example of why I married this man...he's the only person that I can stand to be around 24/7 and love him even more than I did before. No kidding, Mother Nature visited TWICE, and we somehow still got along. That's sayin' something.
Anywho, today is Will's first day 'Inprocessing' into Fort Rucker. It's a ten day process for the soldiers to get information, prep, and begin with a new school or unit, and it happens every time you move. This time it's particularly important because he's starting school and training for the new j-o-b, which kick off with a month of him on lockdown. You know I hate losing any time with him, so a month of living fifteen minutes apart and not being able to see or talk is going to suck. I know Will is happy to get it over with and get to the fun part {flight training}, but he was not happy about losing the beard. As you can see...
Either way, hubbahubba
I'm not gonna know what to do without him after spending every sleeping and waking moment together. I feel like a mom that has to send her first born off to Kindergarten, only he's not going to get snack time or naps. Speaking of Kindergarten...someone's mom just posted the following from when yours truly was in the big K.
You will find me bottom left, first blonde, and check out them chubby cheeks! I still look exactly the same, which was proven by running into old friends at the 5K. However, that story will have to wait until next time. For now, I'm going to snuggle with my soldier before he has to wake up at 4AM. Poor thing.
About To Get Our 5K ON!
This post is coming to you live from Pensacola! Gosh I love being home.
I'm sure I'll have a lot more to say about it next week, so I'll just share some things worth the mention that have been on my mind. The numbers go clockwise, so keep up.
1| One of our going away presents was a Malbec from a winery called The Infinite Monkey Theorem. It's one of the best reds I've ever had would be a good gateway for someone who wants to learn to like reds. I know reds and red drinkers can seem snotty, but if you want to know the truth? Reds have a higher alcohol content, so obviously you just get more bang for your buck ;) If anyone wants to get me the Orange Muscat, I REALLY want to try that one!
2| A Sneak peek of the closet room with extra hanging space Will made. I'll tell you more about that and how he and my MIL 'stole' it soon. Hehe
3| I took Will for his first Cheeburger Cheeburger experience!
4| Lots of workouts means lots of protein shakes lately, and our newest will blow your mind. I call it Heaven: Pineapple+Banana+Cakebatter Protein+Butter Vanilla/Rum Extracts+Almond Milk
5| Will is the dog whisperer, but our new friends dogs loved me!
6| We are in Pensacola right now for the McGuire's 5K! In my 28 years of life, I've NEVER done the McGuire's 5K, and technically, I've never done any 5K. Three.one miles isn't a big deal to me anymore, but I'm still stoked to check it off the bucket list. Plus there's a huge after party, and this girl is ready to kick off St. Patty's celebrations. Did you know green is my color?
I'm actually more worried about the hangover from the after party than the run, but either way...wish us luck! It's the last big thing we get to do before Will is gone for a whole month, so we are doing it big. B-I-G. Happy WeektothemotherEND.
New Makeup And New Friends
We kind of, almost, have new friends. A guy that Will knew in Colorado was also selected to go Flight Warrant, so we sort of know someone in town! We have worked out in the gym together, and even had a little get together last night. They are younger than us, have a child, and she seems pretty shy, but hey...beggars can't be choosers. For reference, we have many friends with kids and I'm an Introvert, but if we are realistic, these are factors in finding new friends. The good news, is that we had a great time and we have plans for a game night in the nearish future based on the boys school dates. Apparently, Jackie and I both love board games, but I mean, who doesn't?
As for the makeup, I haven't been wearing much lately.
After being forced to wear my hair and makeup a certain way for six years, it's been lovely to say eff it and rock the natural look. To be honest, it's the first time I've ever been {really} comfortable without makeup. I guess it comes with laziness age?
Now, instead of dreading makeup I'm excited to do it, and last nights little get together seemed like a good excuse. Especially since I found this inspiration via Pinterest. I normally stick to the SAME tried and true application process for my eye shadow, but this one seemed doable. I pulled out my Physicians Formula Palette, and the rest practically did itself.
I took a million pictures and none could do it justice, so just know that you can create a very subtle eye that packs a punch. I'm not makeup guru, but you can take my word for it.
He likes me with or without makeup, and that is all that matters.
What is your go-to eye makeup and/or palette?
Boys Behind The Blog
How 'bout them Oscars? #HashtagSuckIt.
I don't know when the last time was that I actually watched them, but I knew I had to watch Ellen as the host again. I'm sure everyone and their mom will be recapping it, so I'll just say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Red carpet and all. Will played video games during most of it, but he did watch part of the second half with me. He was such a dear to cuddle with me and to answer the following questions for us. He must really be trying to rack up those brownie points after cashing them all in for the new car. Seems legit.
The Boys Behind The Blog #9 QUESTIONS:
1. If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
Pensacola. I get along really well with my wife's family, and they have cheap beer.
2. Sand or snow?
Sand only makes me sad when it gets into certain crevices. Snow makes me sad all the time...like when we had to pack our moving truck during a snow storm.
What a throwback...I think this was the last time we frolicked in the sand together. Must have been 2011? Too long is all I know.
3. What Winter Olympic sport would you rock at?
Curling, it just sounds fun. I think it would make a much better drinking game, though.
4. You're cooking a romantic dinner- what is your go-to dish?
Peppercorn steak. I reserve it for special romantic occasions, because it's the first meal that I cooked for Janna six years ago.
5. Fill in the blank: This year, I gave (your wife/girlfriend/fiance's name) a ____________________ for Valentine's Day?
A romantic evening, roses, and Peppercorn steak, obviously.
In closing, Kevin Spacey is the shit. We've hopped on the House Of Cards train, and watching him do Johnny Carson on Kimmel last night just sealed the deal. Who was your fave? Not to rain on Lupita's parade, but she's not the 'came from nothing' that people are touting her as. Her dad is a politician and she went to Yale... Does that change anything? I'm curious.
